ELBIN ART OLIVE WOOD COLLECTION
The Olive Tree has meaningful symbolisms throughout many different cultures and religions. One of the most common symbolisms is peace however some of the other things it may symbolize depending on the culture and/or religion may be friendship, prosperity, reconciliation, and victory to name a few. The wood from Olive Trees has beautiful gain patterns as the tree is typically not a tree that grows straight up like an Oak tree but can grow and twist in different directions.
Elbin Art currently uses two different Olive Woods - Manzanilla Olive Wood from California and Imported Italian Olive Wood. It is important to note that there is a price difference between the imported Italian Olive Wood (higher priced) and the Manzanilla Olive Wood from California so when purchasing a product that can be made from either Olive Wood, make sure to select the correct Olive Wood preferred in the option menu in the online store.
As with all Elbin Art wood products, Elbin Art tries to use as much of a piece of wood as possible so that there is very little waste. Left over pieces of Olive Wood that may have been used to make a caddy, may then be made into napkin rings, support posts for a caddy, etc. therefore using as much of the Olive wood as possible.
Availability and lead times of The Elbin Art Olive Wood Collection products depend on current Elbin Art Olive Wood inventory. The cost and availability of Olive Wood makes it very difficult for Elbin Art to stock large quantities of Olive Wood or finished Elbin Art Olive Wood products. While there may be a minimal amount of Elbin Art finished Olive Wood products on hand (depending on product), the majority of products are made to order. For most Olive Wood products, customers can select which type of Olive wood they would like for the product at checkout. Please note that the product shipped will differ in grain patterns then the sample product photos as each piece's grain patterns will be different. No two grain patterns are alike.
